Chapter 1;v.1

וַיִּקְרָא אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָֹה אֵלָיו מֵאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לֵאמֹֽר

And the Lord called to Moses, and spoke to him out of the Tent of Meeting, saying,

The small ] אin the word [ויקראhints that the most desirable ‘sacrifice’ which a Jew should offer on the altar of God is the education of the small children on the “knees of the Torah”. No sacrifice is too great, and no price is too high to pay, for educating our children (Menachem Tzion).

האלף זעירא מרמז שהקרבן הכי רצוי שעל היהודי להקריב על מזבח ה’, זהו אילוף הדור הזעיר על ברכי התורה, כל קרבן לא יהא נחשב לגדול יותר מדי, וכל מחיר לא יהא נערך ליקר יותר מדי כשזה קשור לאילוף הבנים הזעירים.
